If you are looking for an honest shop, this is it. I can’t recommend them enough. We’ve had them look at two vehicles for which other shops recommended brake jobs. On one the other shop recommended new pads due to wear. The Brake Shop advised our brake pads were still adequate. On the other they let us know the current pads were composed of the wrong material, but still safe to drive on, just a little squeaky. We elected to have the second vehicle done. The Brake Shop was reasonable, efficient, and had great communication the entire time. They work on just about everything, not just brakes.

I can't say enough good things about this shop and all of the staff! Being a car collector, I've been to many shops around billings and let me say the quality of work and even customer service is typically absent. Typically overcharging for a job that they don't complete correctly the first time. Complete opposite here. Randomly calling them one day out of pure desperation after my buddy left me with no e-brake after a "fix" and me not having enough time to address it myself, I'm so glad I gave them a shot! Hayden is an awesome mechanic, super fair, very knowledgeable, and you can trust he will get the work done and quickly, with actual sincere care! A good mechanic is so rare and valuable these days, I feel so lucky to have stumbled across them. The front desk people are very pleasant to work with and provide excellent customer service & great communication skills. They are very thorough and report to carfax with the repairs, and give you detailed inspection results with pictures, (not pushing you to repair anything, just focusing on what you brought the car there for first) They don't overbook either, so you can trust your car will be in good hands, not sit and actually quickly get worked on. I love the way this shops runs, and I will continue to bring my big fleet of cars to them and continue recommending The Brake Shop! (and don't let the name mislead you, they can tackle any job, not just brakes!) You guys rock. Thank you for making a difference, it's definitely recognized and appreciated over here! 5/5!

Good to work with. Nice crew. On time, on budget.

They got me in right away, Got my work completed in a timely fashion. It came in way under what the estimated cost would be as well which was nice. They passed the savings back to me rather than putting it in thier own pocket. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I have had other work done there in the past and not hesitate to go there again. I would certainly recommend them to anybody needing service to thier vehicle.

Do not go to this place. Severely overpriced. I took my van here to get the motor checked out and and i asked them to do a compression text before they charge me a bunch of money and do a bunch of things. They did the test and it turned out motor was bad and i said cool. But then they stuck me with a 575 dollar bill for the compression test. They said it took 4 hrs. to do that test. They were trying to say it was complicated and hard to get to the motor. I was like dude you take the cover off from inside the cab and everything is right there. Don't give me that bullcrap. It takes an hour tops to do it on that truck. The guy was speechless because i knew what i was talking about and he had no explanation to give me. Do not take your car here unless you want to get severely overcharged.

After they evaluated the brake pads and knew they were not in need for replace yet, they contacted us and saved us the money instead of just replacing and charging us. I heard a radio ad of theirs and for whatever reason the name stuck. I suppose the name is kinda easy to remember - "The Brake Shop". Nevertheless, their location is on 4th N on the left side/closest to the rims just as you leave downtown and head towards the Metra aka First Interstate Arena. I kept seeing the wrapped truck right on 4th N with their name as I was cruising towards the heights, must have seen it 40 times before I reached out. I was simply hoping to get an appt for an oil change for my magic car, and surprisingly, they were able to squeeze me in the day I called. The shop is super clean and the staff was friendly, professional and helped calm my nerves with some not so ordinary worries that I was honestly embarrassed to divulge. Patience, solid communication and they delivered a great experience. Happy to recommend. Thanks y'all.👍

Had a brake squealing and got in same day. Brakes evaluated and was told all was good. Shuttle provided back to my office and shuttle picked me up to retrieve my vehicle. They checked all systems and informed me I needed my in cab air filter replaced. Very happy with my experience with them.
